The Enpac Poly-Overpack 95 Salvage Drums securely contain a wide range of hazardous materials such as acids, corrosives, solids and liquids.
The 100% UV-protected polyethylene drums are designed for hazardous material transport and storage.
With a handling capacity of 292.5 kg and a sump capacity of 361 L, they meet stringent US Group One packaging standards as well as US Department of Transport and UN regulations (incl UN 1H2/X295S, UN 1H2T/Y295/S and DOT 49 CFR 173.3 C).
The drums feature a twist-down lid for easy and safe closure without specialist tools. A closed cell gasket in the lid ensures tight sealing, while castellation in the lid permits easy closing using a simple pole for leverage. The lid's double wall gives additional strength in this area, while the container's ribbed design reinforces the overall strength of the container's body.
Moulded areas allow for easy gripping and picking up. They weigh 21.6 kg and are nestable for compact storage.
Poly-Overpack 95 Salvage Drums combine the usefulness of overpacks and salvage drums. Overpacks are used to provide protection for packages of solids or for convenience in handling a package or consolidating packages of solids. Salvage drums are used for the transport of damaged or leaking drums of hazardous liquids and hazardous materials that have spilled or leaked.
