The OH&S Consultation Course has been designed to meet the training requirements for OH&S committees and OH&S representatives, as stated in the NSW OH&S Regulation 2001.
It aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply the principles of workplace OH&S consultation. It also serves to develop appropriate attitudes to enable OH&S committee members and OH&S representatives to effectively carry out their functions under OH&S legislation.
The nominal course duration specified by WorkCover is 24 hours. This course involves three days of classroom activity and one day of supervised back-at-work activity. A WorkCover Accredited Certificate will be issued at the completion of all four days of the course.
