The Grating Company has launched a range of clean non-slip solutions for steps, walkways and jetties.
The product is UV-resistant, has complementary load capacity to that of its steel equivalent without the effects of rust and also conforms to the new requirements of the inland waterways in that jetty surfaces should allow 70% light penetration through the walking surface.
The product replaces existing surfaces, which may have deteriorated, become slippery and unsafe due to excessive wear or as a result of algae build up.
The product comes in a standard sheet size of 3.6 x 1.2 m and can be easily fixed to the existing supporting structure (timber or steel). The product does not require any special framing and can be easily and quickly installed by a tradesman or a DIY person.
