Logging multimeter update

Monday, 01 December, 2008 | Supplied by: Fluke Australia Pty Ltd

Fluke Corporation has released a free software package for the Fluke 287 and 289 True-RMS Logging Multimeters.

Features the Firmware V1.1 update will add to the multimeters include: zoom on trend, providing the ability to view and analyse TrendCapture data and see detail at 5X magnification; rotary switch memory when switching positions between AC or DC A/mA and uA; and an improved TrendView graph plot, which plots the minimum, maximum and sample point for each sample interval record and event record.

The update will also provide adjustable recording and auto hold thresholds, allowing users to specify a percentage change in the readings that will begin a new event.

With the software installed, the multimeters will now store up to 15,000 readings for unattended monitoring of signals over time. Users can save multiple logging sessions before PC download is necessary and review logged readings in graphical format directly on the meter display, using the onboard TrendCapture capability.
