Lighter welding equipment

The DL (double layered) liner feed system has decreased the weight of equipment required for welders to handle during aluminium and stainless steel welding.

Welders have found that the torches associated with aluminium MIG wire welding are heavy and linked to claims of repetitive strain injury and tendonitis in the operator.

The DL device has a feed system driven purely by the wire feed unit with no motor.

Countering the problems of moving welding machines along the job weld line, the reduced level of friction the aluminium or stainless steel wire encounters within the liner system allows welders to operate with a longer feed line and reduces the times the wire feed unit of the welding machine requires repositioning.
