With the vacuum lifting device Vacumaster 250/8 SAB, designed for loads of up to 250 kg, the Schmalz vacuum specialists were able to offer a basic system for the handling of raw materials and finished parts.
With the installation of eight suction pads on flexible, spring-loaded mountings and an operator handle which can be swung up and down as required, the vacuum lifting device is suitable for the ergonomical handling of metal sheets and can take them from the top shelves of the rack without the need for additional labour. As the sheets are lowered, the operator handle can be swung back to the horizontal position so that the sheets can be positioned precisely on the machine table. The gripper system with its eight independently flexible suction pads is designed so that individual suction pads can be deactivated individually for the fast and safe gripping of the finished workpieces.
