Sphag Sorb is a versatile, organic and natural lightweight absorbent which is used in initial spills and spill clean-up operations.
It is capable of rapidly wicking - in hydrocarbons, PCBs and other industrial chemicals. It has the ability to suppress 90% vapours on application and to float on water for up to three days while encapsulating hydrocarbons, yet to be non-leaching.
It is non-toxic and non-abrasive and contains no harmful pathogens or microorganisms. It is AQUIS approved, and passes the EPA standards for 'disposal of solidified liquids in landfill'.
It works on any surface - from gravel to grass, sea or swamp land, roads or reservoirs, forecourt or factory and is available in bulk bags, socks or pillows, or various sizes of spill kits.
