Disposable alcohol tester
The Check .05 disposable alcohol tester detects the presence of alcohol in the body and claims to provide an accurate indication of whether the blood alcohol concentration has exceeded specific limits of blood alcohol concentration.
The tester is accredited to Australian Standard AS/NZS 4308:2001 and is manufactured under the stringent quality controls of ISO 9002.
The tester is supplied with a custom designed bag, which is used to measure a quantity of exhaled breath. This step of 'blowing into the bag' is critical as it allows for the accurate measurement of the amount of expired air rather than just relying on a stopwatch for individuals to blow into the tester for a certain period of time.
This is important because people expire, or blow air, with different pressures, so this step negates these variations as people are being tested.
