Disconnect device

The Sprecher+Schuh KT7-25-TRE disconnect device offers added safety for installations utilising the KTA7 motor circuit breakers.

The unit is suited to KTA7 motor circuit breakers up to 25 A for both standard and high breaking capacity models. Its design enables the user to safely isolate a drive at the motor circuit breaker for performing motor or machine magnets, thus preventing accidental or unauthorised restarting.

KT7-25-TRE comprises a removable section which ensures a physical disconnection from the power supply when removed and can only be withdrawn when the circuit breaker is in the 'off' position. Also available is the facility for the fitting of up to 26 mm padlocks to restrict the reconnection of power to authorised personnel only. When disconnected, checks on the motor circuit breakers and its auxiliaries can be performed without applying power.
