Confirming electrical isolations

SwitChek provides fast, low cost confirmation that an isolating switch is off.

The need to perform installation or maintenance work on electrically powered equipment necessitates that the equipment be isolated. Simply switching off and locking an isolating switch is not sufficient. SwitCheck is an automatic, isolation switch tester.

It is available in portable, switchboard and fixed versions. These allow one unit to test all switches in a plant, all switches on a switchboard or they can be dedicated to a specific switch.

The device allows non-electricians to stress test a switch that is live or dead. Pressing the 'test' button starts a test and a 'pass' or 'fail' lamp indicates the result. Automatic, remote, test result logging is provided by a connection to a PLC/DCS.
