Electrade New Zealand Ltd has released the YL2 compact sounder/strobe combination unit from British manufacturer Clifford & Snell Ltd.
The YL2 is a 105 mm fully-integrated sounder and strobe, incorporating a 3 Joule Xenon flasher and 32 tone selectable sounder, with internal volume control, allowing sound output up to 100 dB(A).
It may be wired either as a combination unit or with the strobe and sounder operating from separate input stages and can be cascaded for use in multiple rooms.
This makes the YL2 a suitable bedhead alarm for hospitals, nursing homes, backpacker lodges, etc. Available colour combinations are red or white ABS case, with red, amber or clear lens options. The YL2 is 24 VDC powered and rated for indoor use only.
