Tennant ec-H2O is a breakthrough green, cleaning technology that electrically converts plain tap water to perform like a powerful detergent, without any added chemicals.

Its extension to Rider Scrubbers helps to round out the company’s portfolio of offerings to its growing commercial and light industrial customer base within aviation, distribution, education, food and beverage, healthcare, light manufacturing and retail applications.

Features of the technology include:

  • There is no handling or measuring of dangerous detergents which could result in skin irritation or burns. The Hygienic Tanks on a number of Tennant scrubbers ensure quick and easy access to clean the tank, resulting in improved air quality by preventing mould or bacteria growth.
  • It delivers a 70% reduction in water use compared to conventional scrubbing. It also eliminates detergent production, packaging, transportation and disposal altogether.
  • The scrubbers operate quietly with the T5 operating at 68 dBA (at the operator’s ear).

Equipped with the option of ec-H2O, Tennant scrubbers use minimal water while the parabolic squeegee ensures 100% water pickup resulting in cleaner, safer floors. Since floors just scrubbed by the scrubbers are dry and safe to walk on straight away, Tennant ec-H2O and FaST is certified by the National Floor Safety Institute for increasing floor traction by up to 21% reducing costly slip-and-fall accidents.

Tennant ec-H2O and FaST are NSF-certified for use on floor surfaces in and around food processing areas.
