Acrol has released the Microclene MC 3000 unit, an air filter with application in any industry creating dust as part of the manufacturing process.
The Microclene MC3000 filter, at 36 kg, is lightweight and portable. It can be suspended from overhead beams or even ceiling panels. It runs on 240 V power and can be plugged into any standard power socket. It comes with a 1 m cable. All Microclene air filters are flash and spark protected, thermally protected against overheating and fully earthed.
The MC3000 has four air intakes and will filter 3000 m3 of air per hour. The filter pads will remove airborne particu-lates down to 0.5 micron in size.
The Microclene MC3000 will provide a dust-free workplace to improve the health and safety of workers and staff, reduce down time from equipment clogged with dust and eradicate the threat of dust explosions.
The MC3000 does not change air temperature or pressure so it does not affect the cost of air conditioning, heating or cooling.
The MC3000 will remove airborne wood dust, metal dust, smoke, pollen, spores, fertiliser, mineral and cement dusts. Any airborne particle drawn into the MC3000 stays trapped on the filt-er pads.
