360° security camera

The Ness Speed Dome is a 360° motorised colour dome security camera system. It is equipped with a precision 22x motorised optical zoom plus 16x digital zoom for closeup views to capture subject details.

With more than 520 TV lines of resolution, the domes have the clarity and pixel depth to capture high detail even at maximum zoom levels.

Up to four privacy areas can be drawn on screen to mask out any required views. This ensures consistent privacy for selected areas no matter where the camera is pointing or zooming.

It supports up to 80 programmable preset PTZ positions and auto scan function. The Pattern Tour feature lets users program the Speed Dome to follow a continuous programmed path, panning, tilting and zooming at any speeds required and stopping at selected targets along the way.

The system uses extra sensitive CCD chips providing high sensitivity in low light environments of 0.06 Lux and down to 0.002 Lux (100-739 model). The 100-739 Day/Night model automatically switches to an ultra sensitive black and white mode in poor light for effective operation down to 0.002 Lux.

It features a belt driven pan and tilt mechanism with no gears to wear out. High-speed panning and scanning gives precise response to operator commands and fast seek in preset mode or when reacting to alarm inputs. The camera can also move at low speed down to 0.5° per second without causing any image vibration. The joystick controller gives full control over all camera functions including pan/tilt, focus, iris, preset settings, preset tours, camera address, alarm activation and acknowledgment, auto pan and links up to 255 Speed Domes via RS485 data link. Up to four controllers can be used per system. It is compatible with multiple data protocols.
