Forklift safety seminars

A series of free forklift safety seminars to be held throughout New South Wales has been announced.

The seminars are being coordinated by the Australian Industrial Truck Association and WorkCover NSW and will commence on 3 May.

The content is aimed at OHS managers and supervisors, but forklift operators are also invited to attend.

Presenters to the seminars will include:

  • Workcover NSW, on forklifts within the workplace
  • Stan Palmer, chairman of the Standards Australia forklift committee
  • Norm Crompton, industry expert on forklift load handling attachments
  • Martin Shume, leading barrister in the area of OHS prosecutions
  • Todd Brennan, Forkpro Australia, forklift safety expert
  • LPG Australia, on LPG safety and emissions issues in the Australian marketr NSW will have staff in attendance to answer questions and will
