Tobin Eyewash systems

Tobin Eyewash systems provide a quick and safe way to wash chemicals from the eyes. Available in three versions - portable, compact and permanent fixtures - the system is designed for fast first emergency response during most eye accidents.

The quick-access hanging unit includes saline eyewash bottles hanging by the cap and each bottle is opened simply by breaking this off. Each disposable, single-use bottle contains 1 L of sterile saline solution (0.9%) and provides approximately three minutes of flow. Clear simple instructions for use and the recommended expiry date are included on each bottle.

Other features include: bottles cannot be refilled; unit contains no mechanical parts; eye support ring facilitates prolonged washing and washing during transportation to a doctor; round-bottom design prevents bottles being able to stand alone; bottom air vent lets air into the bottle to ensure the eye is washed by a soft continuous flow.

The system is suitable for areas such as mineral processing, engineering, construction, bushfire fighting, and dust suppression and extraction operations involving potentially aggressive substances.
