Radio communications interface

The Sabre Com is a radio communications system integrated with a face mask. This radio communications interface is a complete, ready-to-use product, allowing you to communicate via radio without having to remove the face mask - perfect for use with self-contained breathing apparatus used by firefighters and other emergency services and industrial safety personnel.

The easy-to-use functions include a flexible earpiece that can be adjusted for the user's comfort. A microphone is positioned on the inside of the face mask to provide both user and listener with optimum clarity and excellent speech reproduction.

It has been extensively tested in high ambient noise atmospheres, ensuring the user optimum quality. Sabre Com is built into a range of face masks including the Vision 3, PanaSeal and ProMask models. All of the face masks suit the EN136 and AS/NZS1716 safety requirements for flame engulfment, heat resistance, water resistance and dust penetration. The radio communications interface is made from polyamide material to provide high heat, flame, impact resistance and has an Intrinsic Safe (IS) rating when used in conjunction with an approved IS radio.

Features include an adapter to suit the user's choice of radio. Additionally, the large 'push to talk' button is attached to a freely rotating clip, enabling the user to position the button where they like. The face mask connection is through a simple 'push and twist' bayonet mechanism, allowing for simple and fast removal for cleaning.
