ProChoice Arax range of Cut 5 resistant gloves

The ProChoice Arax range of Cut 5 resistant gloves is designed to provide good protection against cuts and abrasions, ranging from minor grazes to deeper cut injuries. The gloves are suitable for a wide range of applications, examples include: using power tools; using sharp manual instruments that require hand dexterity and touch sensitivity; and glazing tasks.

The gloves are made from the Arax Cut 5 Proprietary fabric with EN 388 Cut 5 protection. Cut 5 protection is the highest in accordance with the EN 388 standard (which the Australian glove standard mirrors). The fabric is woven by fusing a high-performance industrial yarn with a proprietary Arax thread on a 13-gauge machine to ensure a tighter knit and greater protection.The entire Arax range surpasses the minimum requirements for Cut 5 resistance and the Arax Gold sub-range is said to be able to withstand over 90 blade rotations, which is over four times as many as the Cut 5 Standard requires.

Other features include: good abrasion resistance; form-fitting design that emulates individual hand contours for the best fit; the company’s Bare Hand Technology (BHT) for improved dexterity and comfort; comfortable to wear over extended periods; contact heat resistant to 100°C; quick and easy to wear and remove; and workforce tested.
