Pelican Products 9440 Remote Area Lighting System (RALS) with Bluetooth Remote and Lithium Ion Battery Technology

Pelican Products has upgraded its 9440 Remote Area Lighting System (RALS) with Bluetooth Remote and Lithium Ion Battery Technology.

The product has compatibility with a Bluetooth Pelican smartphone app (iOS and Android) for remote activation and battery management, as well as a high-efficiency lithium ion battery that allows the area light to be left on the charger indefinitely without harm to the battery.

The upgrade also includes a doubled lumen output with three settings: 5300 lm for 1.5 h on high; 2800 lm for 4 h on medium; and 1400 lm for 8 h on low.

Other features include: a beam spread of 125° that effectively lights a large area; a streamlined, self-deploying tripod for easy site placement; a nylon shoulder strap for simple transport; an internal telescoping pole that reaches 2.1 m; and a light head that articulates both vertically and horizontally.

The product now also works with standard AC wall power.
