The EH Torquay 145 mm high lace- and zip-up ankle boot is a non-conductive safety boot intended to reduce the hazards due to accidental contact with live electrical circuits, electrically energised conductors or parts of apparatus (600 VAC or less).

The footwear is intended for use as secondary protective personal equipment, to be used in conjunction with primary protective equipment, in environments where there is a need to reduce the risk of electric shock due to accidental contact with live electric wires. It has been tested at 14,000 V at 60 Hz for one minute with no current flow or leakage current in excess of 3.0 mA under dry conditions.

The boots feature padded ankles, collar and tongue; ‘MAKO’ high-impact, non-metallic toe guard; water-resistant leather uppers; and nitrile rubber outsole that is heat resistant to 300°C.

The boots are available in black only and sizes 3 to 16.
