The Airforce safety shoe, manufactured by Aimont, claims to be an extremely lightweight safety shoe, each shoe weighing just 430 g.
The metal-free shoe's light weight is achieved by combining a 200 J, impact-resistant composite toecap and a flexible and light Kevlar midsole for penetration protection.
The shoe also features a lightweight, shock-absorbing and slip-resistant 100% polyurethane sole and soft suede leather upper that is resistant to lacerations and abrasion.
To ensure wearer comfort over long periods of time, the shoes are fitted with nylon Air-Texplus inserts, a Vento-Plus foot bed and 3D inner lining, making the shoe breathable for continuous moisture management.
