Learn CPR online

Red Cross has launched a convenient, cost-effective and certified method to learn CPR in your own time, place, and pace. Online CPR is a web-based version of the Perform CPR course already run by Red Cross.

The course takes just over an hour to complete online and finishes with a quiz. Contrast this with the in-class version that takes 4 hours. The online course can also be done in sections, say during lunckbreaks or quiet periods.

Once the online course content has been successfully completed, a student can book a time to do a short practical assessment with a certified Trainer at a Red Cross centre. A student who successfully completes the course will receive a Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised unit of competency from the Health Training Package HLTCPR201A — Perform CPR.

The standard course cost is $55, and for maximum flexibility can be started immediately or at a time suited to individual circumstances.
