The Jazz Band hearing protection device has been redesigned to provide greater protection against noise, to SLC (80) 18 dB, Class 3 rating, as well as 50% less band pressure to increase comfort. The SLC rating was increased by designing the soft, tapered, foam pods to correspond to the shape of the ear canal.
The protector is intended for intermittent usage and conveniently hangs down around the user's neck when not in use with the optional breakaway cord. It is supplied with an extra pair of pods.
Designed as a cooler and lighter alternative to earmuffs, the protector does not interfere with eyewear and is 100% PVC free.
