The Frontline Communicator EX is an ATEX Zone 2 certified personal communications device, designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres such as chemical, mining, oil and gas, maritime and hazmat industrial sectors.

The device is a wearable wireless IP-based video communication system enabling one-way video and two-way audio communication with someone located offsite in remote maintenance, collaboration and training activities.

With its hands-free design, the headset incorporates a miniature colour camera, integrated pointer device, directional microphone for noise reduction and headphone. A handheld camera with integrated light, adjustable focus and pointer is also available for video close-ups and hard to reach places.

The dual-camera system provides recording and snapshot capabilities and enables live transmission on both high and low bandwidth formats.

The system can be deployed in hazardous environments to assist in reducing response times, increase productivity, provide rapid access to experts, enable quicker and better decision-making, minimise downtime and reduce travel costs.
