Detectable, reusable earplugs

The reusable SmartFit line of earplugs has been extended to include two detectable versions and one with a cotton fibre cord.

The products are designed to meet the needs of process industries by reducing the chance of a stray earplug contaminating the process or product.

SmartFit Blue is a visually detectable model for use when metal detectability is not required.

For industries such as food processing where contamination by foreign objects is of concern, the SmartFit Detectable earplug includes a metal band on the earplug shaft and attached metallised cord.

The SmartFit Process Industry earplug has been designed for industries with a zero tolerance requirement, such as tobacco and pulp and paper. This model features an attached cotton cord that enables the earplugs to be worn around the neck when not in use.

All SmartFit reusable products use body heat to adapt to the contours of the wearer's ear canal for improved comfort and protection.
