Caustic-resistant boot

Monday, 01 December, 2008 | Supplied by: Oliver Footwear

The Oliver-style AT 65 390 all-terrain safety boot is a 150 mm lace-up mid cut boot with a water-resistant, full grain, tan leather upper. The boot is resistant to caustic substances and other common oils, acids and chemicals encountered on industrial worksites.

The boot comprises a dual-density rubber outsole with a polyurethane midsole. This provides a softer midsole, designed to cushion the foot on impact, with a hard-wearing outsole. The sole is durable and heat resistant to 300 °C.

The integrated Safetycell provides a fully moulded thermoplastic toe, heel and side protection, in a wraparound shape to improve durability and abrasion resistance. Kevlar seam stitching also increases durability.

Featuring a padded ankle, tongue and collar, the boot is available in sizes 5 to 14 with half-size increments between 6½ and 10½.
