Calumino Rapid Thermo Pre-Screener

The Rapid Thermo Pre-Screener by Calumino is a mass deployable, plug-and-play temperature screener. The temperature screener is easy to use, with no reference blackbody source required. The primary function of the RTS is to discourage those with a potential fever from entering populated spaces and buildings, thereby helping to ‘flatten the curve’ and keep others safe.

As a person approaches the RTS, their face is detected by an AI visual camera. The thermal sensor then screens their face and a tablet attached to the RTS shows if the person is clear to enter or if their elevated facial temperature presents a risk.

The RTS is designed to take a person’s temperature in under 1 s, with ±0.5˚C precision, due to its accurate thermal sensor. It creates an efficient screening system for hotels, airports, schools, hospitals, office buildings and other populated areas.

The RTS is 15 x 15 x 9 cm and is available as a USB plug-and-play component in a range of different colours. Included is a tripod and software to run on a Windows 10 Laptop/tablet. A preinstalled Microsoft Surface Pro tablet is also available for out-of-the-box plug-and-play.
