The Blundstone Armourtread range of boots includes a wheat nubuck lace-up ankle boot that is claimed to be the lightest available, with a polyurethane/nitrile rubber sole that is heat-resistant to 300°C. Selected styles have penetration-resistant insoles that are capable of resisting perforation by nails and other objects, even of a small diameter.
The company has also launched safety footwear with an improved level of comfort and style designed for women.
