Australian Pump Industries Pro Operator clothing range

Australian Pump Industries has launched a campaign and clothing range aimed at cutting injuries in professional high-pressure water blaster cleaning.

The Pro Operator campaign provides operators and their employers access to safety awareness training courses and safety clothing designed specifically to protect against injury from high-pressure water jets.

The campaign is aimed squarely at professional users using the machines from 200 bar to 500 bar (3000 to 7300 psi).

Part of the Pro Operator range is protective clothing made from a fabric called Dyneema. This fabric is claimed to be 15 times stronger than steel on a weight to weight basis.

The clothing is designed to be comfortable, light and it even comes with a ‘cool vest’ option that keeps operators cool even in high ambient temperatures. The range includes jackets, trousers, overalls and aprons for flat surface cleaning.
