The Virogard protective mask is manufactured from high-quality, non-woven 40 g/m2 material, contoured for an ergonomic and comfortable fit to the face. The masks have been designed to provide a high degree of protection for the wearer from airborne bacteria and viruses, with dual antimicrobial and water-repellent fabric layers.
A proprietary antimicrobial polymer coating is incorporated in the fabric, which contains no heavy metals, fluoro chemicals or pesticides and is totally non-hazardous to humans. The mask can be washed and ironed up to 20 times without affecting the antimicrobial action, which is also effective against dust mites.
A permanent, environmentally friendly, water and oil repellent coating is also incorporated in the fabric.
