Anti-viral/bacterial protective face mask

The Virogard personal protective mask is an Australian innovation in PPE. As well as killing viruses and bacteria, it can be machine washed or autoclaved and re-used up to 20 times.

In clinical trials, the mask has proved effective against Human Influenza Virus, Staphylococcus Aureus, Psudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella Pneumonia, E.coli, dust mites and a number of other bacteria and viruses.

Constructed of dual 40 gsm non-woven fabric layers, the mask has been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably and provide a positive facial seal, even after extended periods of use.

A proprietary antimicrobial polymer coating is incorporated into the fabrics ensuring no bacteria or virus can survive on its surface, let alone pass through. The coating cannot leach, contains no heavy metals, fluoro chemicals or pesticides and is non-hazardous to humans.

The antimicrobial coating is effective for the life of the fabric and means the Virogard mask can be hot machine washed, autoclaved or sterilised up to 20 times before it needs replacing.
