Ansell Protection Solutions Guide

The Ansell Protection Solutions Guide can be used to simplify the glove selection process by coupling information with comparison charts and application images.

It summarises essential information into comparison charts and easy-to-follow decision trees. Gloves, sleeves and protective clothes are grouped into three categories, colour-coded for easy reference: mechanical protection (protection against cuts, abrasions, snags, punctures and hand fatigue), chemical and liquid protection (protection against harmful chemicals, liquids and mechanical hazards) and product protection (hand and product protection against contamination).

The catalogue provides guidance as to which protection segment and duty level may be appropriate for particular applications. It then guides users to the glove that best meets the safety, productivity and comfort requirements.

An industry table pinpoints the gloves recommended for each of the trades in automotive, metal, glass, chemical, building and construction, recycling, janitorial, food and pharmaceutical industries according to the type of protection required.

Also featured is a chemical permeation chart that specifies gloves’ performance (according to EN374) against 100 commonly used industrial chemicals. It indicates which of the company’s gloves provides the highest levels of protection and gives an indication of how long workers may safely use the gloves when in contact with a particular chemical.
