Ansell HyFlex 11-628 Dyneema glove

Friday, 13 November, 2009 | Supplied by: Ansell

The HyFlex 11-628 Dyneema glove is designed to protect the hands, wrists and forearms of people who work in industries such as paper and print, metal fabrication, plastics injection and moulding, and glass, bottle and automotive manufacturing.

The seamless knitted low-lint glove is claimed to provide mid-level cut protection to AS/NZS 2161.3:2005 rating 3. It is suitable for workers who come into contact with sharp metal pieces over 50 cm large and weighing more than 600 g. Typical work environments likely to encounter these conditions include post-injection removal of material in the plastics industry and metal press work.

The liner ‘breathes’ to keep the glove feeling cool all day, while its form fits the hand’s natural resting shape to minimise fatigue, while the long cuff provides forearm protection. The polyurethane formulation also increases abrasion resistance on the gloves’ work surface.

The glove is available in sizes 6-11.
