ACR Electronics SM-3 Automatic Buoy Marker Light
ACR Electronics’ SM-3 Automatic Buoy Marker Light is a high-intensity LED strobe that can highlight a crew-overboard site.
It is designed to light up automatically and float upright when it hits water, providing 360° visibility for around 3.22 km. It can strobe for more than 24 hours in -1°C water, on two AA L91 lithium batteries, with a minimum light intensity of more than three candelas, according to the manufacturer.
It comes in a UV-resistant, polycarbonate case and has a mounting bracket to keep it secure and accessible in an emergency situation. The light is suitable for commercial maritime applications, including petro-marine, workboats, supply and cargo vessels, and passenger vessels.
