uvex sponsors safety spectacles at APRC

UVEX SAFETY AUSTRALIA LIMITED PARTNERSHIP

Monday, 16 October, 2017

uvex safety Australia will be an associate sponsor at the Asia-Pacific Regional Conference (APRC).

The APRC will be held at the Crown Convention Centre in Perth from 3–5 November.

The bilateral conference between Germany and Australia and the wider Asia–Pacific region brings together international delegates to discuss the most important industry and policy issues today.

uvex safety Australia will use the event as an opportunity to celebrate its upcoming 30th anniversary in May 2018.

With the introduction of the new uvex pheos cx2 to the eyewear category earlier this year, uvex safety sponsors 1000 spectacles to all conference delegates and guests, including personalised spectacles to the top VIPs with their individual name laser engraved into the lens. The uvex pheos cx2 provide a customised fit and superior optical clarity with large field of vision.

“Our decades of experience in the development and production of personal protective equipment allows us to meet the individual requirements of our customers. As a German company penetrating the Australian market, the APRC is an interesting platform for uvex to create new and expand existing business opportunities,” said Andreas Dammann, director RBU Asia, South Pacific and managing director, uvex safety Australia Limited Partnership.

Anna Meares, an Australian cycling champion, is a uvex brand ambassador promoting the use of uvex safety industrial personal protective equipment and helping workers feel like they are winners at work.
