Faceshields are used in many industries to protect operators against flying particles, liquid, chemical and molten splashes, radiated heat and glare. The Protector chinguard visors provide extra protection to the neck and face from impacts, liquids, harsh and non-hazardous chemical splash.
The Australian-made 1 mm polycarbonate visors provide low- to high-impact protection, resistance to moderate heat, non-hazardous liquids and a wide range of harsh chemicals. A replaceable visor is available.
Suitable applications include: grinding and disc cutting, lead joining, metal cleaning and plating, chemical processing, use of aerosols and moderate heat applications such as furnaces or foundry work.
The chinguard visor is approved to AS/NZS 1337:1992.
