Chem-Tech Chemical Splash Protective Clothing range

The Chem-Tech Chemical Splash Protective Clothing range, made from five-layer breathable fabric, can be used for chemical-splash protection. The fabric allows vapour to transfer through the fabric while preventing liquid penetration by a variety of chemicals and allows the body to ‘breathe’ so perspiration can evaporate, reducing the possibility of heat stress and improving wear comfort.

The clothing can provide the wearer with valuable time to access an emergency shower in the case of an accidental chemical splash. The fabric has been tested to ISO-11092 for water vapour resistance.

Features of the clothing include: resists penetration of many liquid chemicals including aviation fuel and sulfuric acid (>3 h hold out); anti-static, flame-resistant option available; conforms to AS/NZS 1906.4 1997 and AS/NZS 4602:1999; multipurpose garments for protection against chemical hazards and wet weather garment, with waterproof and water-repellent properties; soft lightweight fabric; PTFE barrier technology; durable, washable, reusable and easy to maintain; all seams sewn and seam sealed for protection.

Features of the fabric include: chemical-, oil-, soil-repellent treatment on the outer fabric; 300D Oxford outer fabric; moisture vapour permeable PU hydrophilic coating; moisture vapour permeable microporous PTFE film membrane; Tricot nylon knit liner.
