The 3M Speedglas 9100 FX series of welding shields includes the 9100 FX (flip-up) welding shield and the 9100 FX Air Adflo PAPR (flip-up/respiratory) welding shield.

The 9100 FX welding shield is a flip-up combination of an auto-darkening welding shield and a high-impact protective grinding visor.

Features include: smooth flip-up functionality reveals 17 x 10 cm protective visor; three viewing areas available; seven adjustable dark shades; high-impact rating according to the requirements of AS/NZS1337; advanced ergonomic ratchet-style head harness with parked stop in the up position.

It is suited to grinding or precision weld preparation applications under low light conditions.

The 9100 FX Air Adflo Welding Shield includes the above features with added uniquely designed airflow ducts resulting in improved respiratory comfort. It also includes a factory-calibrated air filter unit with automatic airflow control circuitry and low flow alarm and NiMH battery pack with smart charger.
