The 4000 Series Respirators are ready-to-use, maintenance-free half masks designed for effective and comfortable protection against a combination of many gases, vapours and particulate hazards found throughout industry. 

The series includes the 3M 4251 (A1P2) Organic vapour + Particulate Respirator; 3M 4255 (A2P2) Organic vapour + Particulate Respirator; 3M 4277 (A1B1EP2) Organic vapour/Inorganic + Acid gas/Particulate Respirator; 3M 4279 (A1B1E1K1P2) Organic vapour/Inorganic + Acid gas/Ammonia/Particulate Respirator.

The product’s facepiece has a low-profile design for better peripheral vision. It is lightweight and well-balanced, made of soft, non-allergic material with a textured face seal.

The built-in filters feature bonded carbon. The exhalation valve is in a central position for effective removal of heat and moisture build-up within the facepiece.

The product’s adjustable head cradle and neck straps are easy to fasten and provide a stable, secure fit.

The product can be used until it is damaged, the particulate filters clog or the gas filters become saturated. A resealable bag provides convenient and clean storage between uses.
