3M and Control Vend PPE storage and distribution system

Control Vend has partnered with 3M to provide a solution for storing and distributing PPE to the industrial, manufacturing and mining facilities.

This system enables users to manage the distribution of 3M eyewear, hearing and respiratory protection products as well as 3M industrial consumables all from one location - a Control Vend machine.

Storing and dispensing safety products in this manner protects items from dust and damage. It also assists with safety equipment compliance.

The goal of the system is to control and reduce usage rates while maintaining ready access to safety products and industrial consumables.

Further to controlling and reducing usage, Control Vend works with customers to place their vending machines in locations that allow 3M PPE and industrial products to be more accessible to employees, reducing downtime in acquiring equipment at the start of the shift.

The Control Vend reporting system tracks and monitors each individual transaction. From this raw data, they work with customers to provide tailored reporting while maintaining confidentiality if required.
