3M has released its 9542A particulate respirator with P2-rated filter to its range of disposable respirators.

The respirator provides protection against dusts, mists and fumes. The added carbon layer provides additional relief from nuisance levels of organic vapours and odours. It is designed to fit a range of facial sizes.

Its foldable design is portable and easy to carry. The low-profile design allows better visibility as well as compatibility with eyewear. Each respirator is individually wrapped, protecting it from contamination prior to use, as well as making it practical for storage and dispensing in the workplace.

The respirator is suitable for use in foundry operations, mining, metal processing, printing, light-duty welding, agricultural operations, laboratory, waste disposal, solvent cleaning plus various other operations where particulate, nuisance levels of organic vapour and odours are present.

It meets performance requirements of Australia/New Zealand Standards AS/NZS 1716:2012.
