3M’s 4570 protective coverall uses an advanced film technology to provide Type 3 levels of protection in both chemical holdout and mechanical strength.

The high-performance suit includes a stitched/welded seam with chemical tape applied.

Features include: advanced film to help protect hazardous dusts (Type 5), light liquid splashes (Type 6), low-pressure liquid sprays (Type 4) and higher-pressure liquid jets (Type 3) and biohazards; soft material reduces the amount of noise made by the coverall when moving; glued-in elastic waist to minimise entry points and elastic wrists and ankles; two stormflaps combined with double colour-coded zip to create a double seal; large ring-pull zippers for easy donning and doffing when wearing gloves; taped seams and particle tight fabric - tape is carefully applied across seams to ensure consistent seal and ‘invisible’ appearance; thumb loops for secure fit during overhead work; three-panel hood design with complimentary PPE; protects from certain biological contaminants (tested to EN14126); antistatic treated (meets EN1149) - inner side only.

Applications of the coverall include: chemical mixing and handling, chemical spills, emergency response, decontamination, tank cleaning and pesticide spraying.
