The Tyvek Dual coverall is designed by DuPont, bearing in mind that both protection and comfort are crucial for working in the best conditions. The product is designed for areas where heat stress can be a concern in the working environment.

Some work environments have high requirements for comfort and limited protective requirements. Some of these work environments have mainly frontal exposures to hazards. Tyvek Dual is designed specifically for these environments.

The product features protection on the front and arms, where the user needs it most, and a large breathable SMS panel on the back of the garment from head to toe to provide overall comfort. Trials have shown that the product is perceived as more comfortable than a full Tyvek coverall.

The coverall meets EN Standards Type 5 fine particle and Type 6 light spray protection. It features external stitched seams for enhanced protection against penetration from the outside to the inside of the garment.

Typical applications include working in hot environments; mining and mineral processing; brick ceramic firing; foundries and smelting operations; metal fabrication; boat manufacturing; site remediation and clean-up; utilities; glass manufacturing; and bakeries.
