The wrightway2MT bin tipper has a double-roller ‘lift and tip’ mechanism that allows two outside arms to travel within covered and shielded channels during the lift, empty and lower cycle, eliminating possible pinch/amputation points while the machine is in operation.

All moving parts are fully guarded and access areas, including access at ground level, are claimed to have been made safe. Castor brakes can be engaged independently of the direction the castors are facing after relocation. Simple-to-operate, all-steel brake levers are located on either side of the door. The handle bar across the front of the machine ensures operators maintain balance while applying the brakes and facilitates safe movement of the machine within confined areas. Dedicated forklift pockets allow the bin tipper to be safely and securely relocated over distance by forklift.

Operator safety during operation is paramount: the bin is wheeled in through a door that opens to 170° and is low enough to restrict operator entry. To operate, the door must be closed and the operator safely located at the front of the machine, well away from the tipping area. The category 3 integrated interlock safety system ensures the door cannot be opened until the cradle has been returned to ground level by gravity. The control panel includes an emergency stop button with a detailed SOP, located immediately above.

The control box can only be accessed by a specific key. The bin tipper is suitable where employees are emptying five or more bins daily. Standard models empty into industrial skips at 1875, 1575 or 1275 mm, while the w2MT800 empties into a skip below dock level.
