The Merak is a GS-tested safety knife for precise cutting with fully automatic blade retraction technology, which is suitable for cutting most packaging materials. Thanks to the shallow cutting depth of 11 mm, the risk of damage to the contents is minimised when cutting into cardboard boxes. Designed with a squeeze-grip, the knife is suitable for both left- and right-handed users. The blade is changed simply, quickly and safely without using any tools.
Other features include: no tools or dismantling required to change blade; installed blade is four-sided for longer blade life; safety button prevents user from unintentionally extending blade; cuts cardboard with up to double-walled thickness; cuts plastic box strapping, adhesive tape, foil and plastic bags, stretch wrap, shrink wrap and more.
