The Martego 122001 safety cutter with squeeze action has a spring-loaded blade that retracts automatically even if the user continues to hold the squeeze lever. The circular blade path pushes against the material being cut, making it possible to cut soft materials such as shrink-wrap and plastic bags.
The cutter is ergonomically designed and has received the Red Dot Design award in Europe.
