Linde 394 forklift range

The Linde 394 range includes 4.0 t, 4.5 t and 5.0 t versions of the 39X range of IC forklifts.

Components such as the mast, wheels, front axle mounting, counterweight and hydraulic components are physically larger, and the power output of the diesel engine is increased - the 394 is turbo-charged and intercooled.

Linde claims that users can save on running costs including fuel savings; non-skid characteristics of the hydrostatic controls results in fewer sets of tyres required; and the elimination of expensive and maintenance-intensive parts such as mechanical clutch, gearbox and conventional brake.

The 4 t to 5 t models have performance enhancements over previous models, including improved capacity, quieter operation, reduced emissions, faster cycles times, a 4 kW increase in power and extended maintenance intervals.

The compact nature of the engine provides comfort for the operator.

The Linde Load Control (LLC) system of electronic mast function actuation has two control levers for mast, fork and load movement that are integrated in a wide armrest that is adjustable vertically and horizontally.

The electronic actuation of the hydraulics means that the effort required with either control lever is 85% less than operator effort needed with mechanical levers.

The noise level has been reduced by 5 dB(A).

The electronic engine management systems continuously monitor the state of the engine and automatically adjust parameters to ensure optimum combustion process within the engine.
