The Crane Reliability Survey (CRS) is an audit service that tracks the condition, reliability, service life and operating safety of a crane and its components.

The CRS helps to ensure compliance with mandatory 10-year mechanical and 25-year structural inspections in accordance with AS 2550.3.

The process comprises several modules that include core analysis to determine compliance with inspections; an examination of the crane’s condition in the context of its operating environment; a detailed assessment of the present condition of the crane’s electrical components, motors, rope, gears and hook; and a maintenance and reliability study to identify the most critical elements that may cause downtime.

The Survey provides an exhaustive analysis and a comprehensive report which serves as a solid basis for crane owners to make sound decisions about the future use and maintenance of the crane.
