The Dok-Lok trailer restraint is claimed to be rugged and reliable and has a solid-steel rotating hook that helps prevent all types of trailer separation accidents, including early departure, trailer creep, landing gear collapse and trailer tipover.
When landing gear collapse or trailer tipover begins to occur, the trailer’s ICC bar moves away and up from the dock. The restraint’s hook is claimed to be the only hook able to rotate up and over the RIG, limiting both horizontal and vertical trailer movement, to help prevent an accident.
