Vic farm worker fatally crushed by seed load
WorkSafe Victoria is investigating an incident in which a 54-year-old man died while attempting to unload a bulk seed bag into a semitrailer at Crowlands, north-east of Ararat. It is understood that the farm worker was pinned against the top of the trailer when the bag shifted after being lifted above the truck with a telehandler at about 10.00 am.
This brings the workplace fatality toll to 16 for 2022, 11 fewer than at the same time last year.
